Informasi yang didapatkan Bekasinews.com, Kantor Bupati Bima saat ini rata dengan tanah, dan yang tersisah tinggal sebuah Masjid yang berada disamping Kantor Bupati tersebut. Setelah membakar Kantor Bupati Bima, massa yang panjangnya mencapai 5 kilometer bergerak menuju pendopo Bupati.

Aksi ribuan warga Kecamatan Lambu yang juga didukung oleh warga Kecamatan Sape ini merupakan buntut dari bentrokan pada 24 Desember 2011 lalu yang juga menuntut Bupati Bima Fery Zulkarnaen untuk mencabut ijin tambang PT SMN.

PT SMN adalah pemegang izin eksplorasi sesuai SK Bupati Bima No.188.45/357/004/2010 yang merupakan penyesuaian atas SK Bupati Bima No.621 Tahun 2008M/1429H berdasarkan Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia No.4 Tahun 2009 Tentang Pertambangan Mineral dan Batubara. PT SMN adalah salah satu diantara  20 lebih pemegang izin usaha pertambangan lainnya di Bima. (sn01)
